Scheduling
We ask that you please give a 3-hour window for scheduled pickup – when your dog is on for 1 walk/day. Please provide a 2-hour window when on for 2 walks a day. Session time is from entrance unto the building until leaving your home. Please always handle scheduling with Happy Pants’ main office.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be made by at least 8 A.M. on the day of service for the full rate to not be charged for the dog walker services.

Essentials
Please make sure that you have bags, a safety harness or collar that doesn’t slip off, paper out for a note, and a towel ready in the event of rain. Please provide a set of keys for your apartment or give word to your doorman to give access. All dogs must be licensed and have ID tags. A signed contract is required for service.

Weather
Our dog walkers in Manhattan, West Village, Soho, and all the other locations show up no matter the weather. In the event of heavy rain or extreme heat, we may go inside after a while for some indoor playtime.

Dogs with minor behavioral issues
If you are concerned that your dog may not do well in a group because it is rambunctious, barks a lot at other dogs, etc., please contact us. We have had great success introducing such dogs to groups and improving their overall behavior through close care and socialization.

Hours of operation/Holidays
Our normal hours are from Monday – Friday, from 10:00 A.M – 5:00 P.M. Weekday walks between 8:30 AM – 10 AM and 5 PM – 8 PM are at an additional $7 fee. Walks starting before 8:30 AM and finishing after 8 PM are an additional $12 fee (to regular afternoon walks). We observe the NY Stock Exchange calendar. Additional holidays include the Friday after Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas and New Year’s. Holiday afternoon walks (and accompanying weekends) are at an additional $12 fee. Holiday visits between 8:30 AM – 10 AM and 5 PM – 8 PM are an additional $19 to regular weekly afternoon walks. Holiday walks starting before 8:30 AM and finishing after 8 PM are an additional $24 fee to regular weekly afternoon walks. Please just let us know if you have any questions at all about pricing.

Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards. We process payment on Friday’s every 2 weeks after services are rendered.

    The price for Dog Walking, Dog Running, Puppy Care, and Playgroups in Manhattan depends on the number of visits your dog has in a given week. Price also depends on the duration of the visit. 30-minute Dog Walks start at $17 per visit and 45-minute Dog Walks start at $22 per visit. 1-hour Dog Walks start at $30 per visit and Playgroups (AKA 2-hour and 15-minute Dog Walks) start at $40 per visit. 30-minute Dog Running visits starts at $25 per visit and 45-minute dog running sessions start at $30 per visit. There is a 50% discount for same household dogs.

      At Happy Pants, we ensure that your beloved dog gets our undivided attention and love for the time they are with us. We do not pack-walk dogs and they will never be left unattended. The dog walker keeps a very close eye on your amazing dog. We offer two types of walks: Semi-Private (AKA Buddy Walks!) and Exclusive (Solo Walk). For Buddy Dog Walks, we pair your dog up with a compatible dog or two (three in total) to allow them to have a fun romp throughout Manhattan. Exclusive dog walks are one-on-one visits for dogs needing special care or attention – or perhaps ones with some behavior peccadillos.     At Happy Pants, we follow the New York Stock Exchange calendar. The additional holidays followed by us are the Friday after Thanksgiving and the week that falls between Christmas and New Year’s. Holiday and weekend services are based on availability. Our dog walking and care service on holidays or weekends are at an incremental charge.
