Colin Kerr
Born in Madras, India, Colin has cared for all sorts of animals in many different countries. He has spent a lot of time in Ireland, where his fondest memories include running through the lush countryside with groups of Cocker Spaniels. In addition to the amazing amount of love that he showers on the pups, Colin is probably best known for the epic notes (and occasional drawings) he leaves after each visit. Colin has worked many years as a copywriter and painter. He is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. Colin’s art has been featured in many galleries, movies, and TV shows.
Asia Plate
Originally from Woodstock, NY, Asia has grown up and cared for lots of pups. Asia has a Health and Nutrition Sciencesdegree from Brooklyn College. Asia also plays competitive Roller Derby for the Gotham Girls Roller Derby. They are a force to be reckoned with. Additionally, Asia has her group fitness training certification. Her favorite fictional character is Arya Stark.
David Huynh
David grew up in Queens with lots of pets including a Miniature Pincher and a Gecko. David loves doing whatever he can for animals and has long volunteered at the shelter, Animal Haven. David hopes to someday become an Environmental Police Officer. His favorite fictional character is Negan from The Walking Dead.
Dane Anthony
Dane was born and raised in Detroit and moved to New York in the early 80’s. Full confession, he used to bark like a dog at people in the playground as a child and still feels a special connection to dogs. Dane says, “They seem to know what I’m saying when I use my dog voice.” Dane laughs. In addition, Dane loves quality time with his own pet, an 18-year-old Miniature Poodle named Nikki Monroe. In addition to being a professional Dog Walker, Dane is a fine artist, illustrator, comic book artist and teaching artist.
Gray Hall
Gray grew up with 2 dogs named Sandy and Tux and lots of cats. Gray was on the track team in High School and also loves playing tennis. Gray graduated from Guilford College in North Carolina. He is a successful recording musician who plays in several bands. His favorite fictional character is Yoda
Jack Redford
Jack is originally from Manchester UK and now calls Washington Heights homes. Jack adores animals and does whatever he can to put a smile on their (and their owners’!) face. Jack is also an accomplished bass player, having “slapped the bass” in many places throughout the world.
Jordan Clark
Jordan hails from Washington D.C. and is obsessed with dogs, having owned and fostered pups throughout the years. Jordan graduated from Guilford College and later hiked the Appalachian Trail. He has been getting his Happy Pants on for more than the last 2 years. Jordan is also an accomplished musician, playing piano in several bands – including one with fellow Happy Panter, Gray.
Kate Sudar
Kate is originally from beautiful Ohio. She grew up with 3 Golden Retriever named Maggie, Kacey, and Keller. They were all equally amazing, and taught Kate everything she would ever need to know. When Kate is not getting her dogs on, she is a graphic designer and illustrator. Kate’s favorite fictional character is Air Bud (awwwwww!)
Nicholas Davies
Nic is originally from South Africa. He is proud to call New York City home for the last 7 years. Nic grew up running track and playing Rugby. He is a life-long lover of dogs and has professionally cared for them for the last 3 years. Nic is also an accomplished musician and teacher.
Nick Byrne
Nick grew up in from Long Island. He graduated from Hunter College and has always loved pups. In 2014, he rescued an adorable Jack Russell Terrier. Nick’s favorite fictional character is Colonel, the Sheepdog from the 1961 version of “One Hundred and One Dalmatians”, because Nick wonders, without him, how else would Pongo and Perdita been able to find their litter of pups?”
Rachel Pariso
Rachel is originally from Indiana. She moved to New York to attend F.I.T., from where she graduated from in 2014. Rachel has been an awesome member of the Happy Pants family for the last 3 years. Her level of love and devotion for pups is bar-none!
Stephanie Voong
Steph grew up in the Bay Area in California. She moved east to attend Syracuse University. During her time there, she studied abroad in Singapore. Upon graduation, Steph moved to New York city where she eventually started her own digital marketing agency, which she still runs today. Steph has volunteered at various shelters and absolutely adores dogs. Her favorite fictional character is Catwoman.
